Our Partners
Food for Thought Pantry
Through Fuel Your Fellow Nole, we create an opportunity for students to contribute to the Food for Thought Pantry by donating their guest meal swipes from their campus meal plans. The donated swipes go to the food pantry who distributes them to students in need. To learn more about Fuel Your Fellow Nole and how to donate, click here.
We further support the Food for Thought Pantry with the Round Up for FSU initiative. At all our dining locations, customers can Round Up their purchase to the nearest twenty-five cents, which will be donated to the Food for Thought Pantry to help support food insecure students across campus.
Food Recovery Network
Seminole Dining teams up with FSU’s chapter of the Food Recovery Network (FRN) to combat food waste and support the FSU community. Through this partnership, surplus food from Seminole Dining locations is collected and redistributed to various organizations on campus and in the community such as the Food for Thought Pantry and the Kearney Center. By working with FRN, Seminole Dining contributes to reducing food waste and addressing food insecurity. Visit FRN's webpage to learn more and find out how you can volunteer.
Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association
Seminole Dining proudly partners with the Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association (FNIA) to host the FSU Farmers Market, a vibrant hub for local goods and community engagement on campus. FNIA, a force of community development in Tallahassee, works to provide equitable opportunities to the members of Frenchtown community via economic development, social change, and cultivation. We collaborate to foster connections between students and local farmers/vendors while promoting sustainable practices. Through the FSU Farmers Market, students gain access to local goods and learn about the importance of supporting local businesses. Together, we are committed to nurturing a culture of sustainability and social responsibility.
