Seminole Dining is passionate about serving our community. We have several programs and initiatives in place that help us do just that.
Fuel Your Fellow Nole
Through our Fuel Your Fellow Nole program, students can donate one of their guest meal swipes each semester to help food insecure students on campus. These donated swipes go to the Food for Thought Pantry who has identified students in need to give swipes to. If you would like to donate one of your guest swipes, simply complete the survey here and let us know you would like to donate that swipe. We will need your name and EMPLID, so please include that information in your email.
Food For Thought Pantry
We further support the Food for Thought Pantry with the Round Up for FSU initiative. At all of our dining locations, customers can Round Up their purchase to the nearest twenty-five cents. The excess will be automatically donated to the Food for Thought Pantry to help support food insecure students across campus. Learn more about Round Up here.
To reduce our food waste, Seminole Dining partners with our Food Recovery Network chapter to deliver excess food to various groups on campus and in the community. In 2021, we donated over 1,000 pounds of food to the community. Visit FRN's website to learn more and find out how you can volunteer.
We firmly believe in supporting our local businesses wherever possible. We are very proud to utilize such local businesses as RedEye Coffee, Legacy Greens, Sweet Grass Dairy, Bradley’s Sausage, Traders Hill, Southern Seafood Market, TG Lee Dairy, and Chapman’s Produce throughout our operations.
